Year ended 30 June 2022 – Key Highlights

• Group turnover for the year ended 30 June 2022 totalled £4.51 billion compared to £4.29 billion in the previous year, an increase of 5% driven by increase in all businesses.
• Profit before tax totalled £398.8 million compared to £334.0 million in the previous year.
• Bestway Cement, committed to sustainability, has now installed captive solar power plants at all four of its plants with a total capacity in excess of 62MW.
• Under the leadership of the Group CEO, Bestway launched the Pakistan Flood Relief Appeal, raising $2.3 million, with the intention of delivering immediate aid to the affected regions.
• UBL declared Pakistan’s Best Digital Bank by Asiamoney, for the third time in a row.
• Bestway Cement awarded the Annual Environmental Excellence Awards 2022.
