Year ended 30 June 2024 – Key Highlights

• Group turnover for the year ended 30 June 2024 totalled £4.90 billion compared to £4.74 billion in the previous year, an increase of 3% driven primarily by the full year impact of Bestway Healthcare’s acquisition of Lexon.
• Profit before tax totalled £445.3 million compared to £420.9 million in the previous year.
• Bestway Healthcare has been focused on the integration of the Lexon acquisition into the business and as a result is now the UK’s 2nd largest retail pharmacy chain as well as the UK’s 4th largest pharmaceutical wholesaler.
• Bestway Cement successfully managed the rollout of two new cement plants in Hattar and Mianwali in Pakistan.
• The Pakistan Flood Relief Appeal and associated project work has been completed and we were able to materially exceed our targets and raised over $4 million.
