UBL Celebrated a Decade of Pakistani Literature & Arts

The largest ever edition of UBL Literature & Arts Awards was recently celebrated in Karachi to mark a decade of this distinctive initiative UBL embarked on in 2012. The awards ceremony was attended by dignitaries from Pakistani literature and arts fields, notable celebrities, media personalities and socialites, and was filled with entertainment and commendable portrayal of literary excellence and arts. Fourteen of Pakistan’s best writers and artists received awards.

The UBL Literature and Arts Awards honors and celebrates authors writing Urdu and English fiction, non-fiction, poetry, children’s literature and more. This year, we are proud to have expanded our categories making it the most comprehensive Pakistani awards celebrating the field of literature and arts. This included a life-time achievement award presented to the pride of Pakistan Mr. Anwar Maqsood by Mr. Shazad G. Dada, President & CEO, UBL.

With each iteration of the award, the UBL Literature & Arts Awards continues to stand out as a leader in the field and a benchmark of excellence in promoting literary excellence.
