Bestway at Royal Ascot

This year 800 guests attended the event which was in aid of the Shaukat Knanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Lahore, Pakistan. The founder of the hospital, Imran Khan was guest of honour at the event and is seen here with John Francombe, the racing tipster and ex champion jockey (left) and Sir Anwar Pervez OBE, H Pk, chairman of Bestway.

The final proceeds from the day have yet to be calculated and will be presented to the charity at a later date. Funds were raised through a giant tombola and an auction of top prizes as well as the proceeds from ticket sales and donations.
