Bestway Announces BPA 2012 Award Winners
The Bestway Group announced the winners of its 2012 Bestway Performance Awards at a glittering prize ceremony in London last night - ceremony recognises outstanding performance.
Mr Younus Sheikh, Managing Director of Bestway, and Zameer Choudrey, Group Chief Executive of Bestway Group, presented 14 awards recognising outstanding performance among staff – as voted by colleagues and suppliers. Staff also voted for two supplier awards.
- Bestway Aintree was voted Overall Branch of the Year
- Eugene Mulroy of Batleys Liverpool won Overall Manager of the Year
- AG Barr picked up the prize for Supplier of the Year
- Kellogg's won Most Innovative Supplier of the Year
Zameer Choudrey, Group Chief Executive of Bestway Group, said: “The BPA awards recognise those across all areas of our business who consistently excelled over the past year, along with suppliers that demonstrated the best attitude, support and service levels with an innovative approach. I congratulate the winners and look forward to watching our team, working closely with our suppliers, continue to support all of our customers by delivering the best prices, value and service in 2013.”
The BPA 2012 award winners collected trophies, certificates and a cash prize in front of more than 350 guests who attended the event at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square. Entertainment was provided by famous stand-up comedian Shappi Khorsandi.
