Bestway launches 'Big Summer' promotion

Big cash rebates, prize giveaway, consumer aimed POS, Olympic tickets and website linked deals

Bestway group is all set to bring ‘scorching and sizzling’ sunshine into the lives of its independent retailer customers and its food service division customers too this summer with its latest, much awaited, big promotion, all set to run right the way through the year from April 27th to September 13th.

Following the runaway success of last year’s ‘Team 35 Drive’ promotion, when sales were driven up by 125 per cent and customer rebates topped £1 million, this year’s ‘Big Summer’ promotion event at all Bestway and Batleys branches throughout England, Scotland and Wales looks all set to beat the records too.

The ‘Big Summer’ promotion will offer customers the chance to earn up to 4% rebate on their purchases, depending on quantities bought and the mix of products purchased. Rebates on top of the very keenly priced offers are titled “Sizzlers” and “Scorchers”. The independent retailer customers will also be able to involve their own customers in the promotional deals through a dynamic approach to using themed point of sale materials, specially developed by Bestway and Batleys, to bring the promotion to life in the retailer’s store to appeal to the consumer direct. Retailer customers will also be entitled to enter a high value competition to reward purchases by winning a delivery van. This prize is in partnership with Britvic. All the promotional details will be available on an exclusive “Big Summer” page on the website, where there will also be additional excusive website offers too.

All of the UK’s major suppliers will be linking up with the Bestway Wholesale group to take part in the promotion; some of them as top tier Olympic sponsors, will ensure the "Big Summer" promotion gets off to a winning start as many of their key packs will carry chances for consumers to win tickets to the Olympics and this is a major selling point for Bestway customers to maximise to their own customers and to encourage their own sales and profits.

The offers will be heavily promoted with strong point of sales materials in all branches and through a trade advertising campaign aimed at the independent trade and the food service industry.
