Bestway Group, UBL donate to LUMS

The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) hosted the Lord Zameer Mohammed Choudrey, CBE, SI Pk, Chairman, Bestway Group and Mr. Muhammad Jawaid Iqbal, President & CEO, United Bank Limited (UBL). His Lordship and Mr. Iqbal presented to LUMS, donation cheques of PKR 275 million each on behalf of Bestway Group and UBL, respectively. Both the Bestway Group and UBL have a long association with LUMS for various endowment programs. 

The donation will strengthen LUMS' mission to make world-class learning accessible to exceptional students  regardless of financial background and to nurture leadership grounded in innovation, integrity, and service to society. The ceremony was also attended by LUMS founding Pro-Chancellor Mr. Syed Babar Ali and Board of Trustees Chair for LUMS, Dr. Parvez Hassan along with other senior executives from the respective institutions.
