In today`s highly competitive market place consumers are becoming more demanding of their local convenience stores.  This in tandem with the increasing number of supermarkets squeezing profit margins; the convenience store sector is under unprecedented pressure to provide a professional service at affordable prices. 

Building on the success of ‘Best-in` facia retail outlets ‘Best-One` own symbol group was launched in 2001.

Through Best-One, retailers are provided help and advice on improving their external store image, fostering a convenient shopping environment, merchandising, marketing, insurance and arranging free and frequent shop deliveries etc.

Unlike other symbol groups, Best-One is unique in the sense that retailers are not required to pay a joining or annual fee.  A team of business development advisors is on hand 24 hours a day to provide advice to member retailers without the burden of any surcharges or central office fees.  Thus allowing members to invest more in the growth of their business.

In October 2008 Best One extended its services by commencing the roll-out of the Western Union Money Transfer service.

In June 2010 Best One entered the Scottish market on the back of the acquisition of Bellevue Cash & Carry and has been very well received by retailers.  With Bellevue on board, customers will be better served. 

‘Best-One` today is one the fastest growing symbol groups in UK with over 500 members. The Xtra Local membership currently stands at 750 and the Best-in Club membership at 1,400.
