The property business of Bestway Group comprises of owner-occupied warehouses, their maintenance, investment properties and the development of existing and new investment and commercial properties. Today, Bestway Group’s property portfolio stands at an impressive £500.0 million valued at cost.

Many of our warehouses are purpose built. An in-house team of professionals led by Dawood Pervez manages the development process. Their recent successful projects include the newly built warehouses – Hackney and Leicester. Hackney in particular demonstrated the team’s ability to execute complicated schemes as it involved temporarily relocating the cash & carry business and negotiating the exit of numerous residential and commercial tenants before obtaining planning permission. The project progressed to demolition and rebuild followed by relocation of our business in the newly built premises. Recently completed major own use projects  include 90,000 square feet of warehousing in Edmonton in London; 90,000 square feet in the Medway region and separate Pet Food warehouses on spare land at our existing warehouse locations in Bristol and Luton.

Palmbest – the investment property division of Bestway Group invests in properties that are held in addition to those used by the Group for its business operations. Palmbest’s portfolio includes prime office space, industrial estates, large warehouse units, large retail shops and residential property. These properties are located throughout the UK including Central London.  Palmbest’s blue chip tenants include McDonalds, Vodafone, Natwest Bank, Café Rouge, Sainsbury, Post Office, Argos, Lunn Poly etc.

In the last few years, the Group has developed nearly 1.0 million square feet of commercial space comprising of warehouse units in Leeds, Nottingham, Liverpool. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Peterborough, Leicester, Gillingham, Durham, Luton, Edmonton and Acton in London. Furthermore, the Group also has lanning permission to construct around 583 residential units (both houses and flats) in Leicester and London.

In order to provide one stop shop service to its customers, the property business maintains strong links with estate agents; surveyors; solicitors and chartered accounts.
