Bestway Group is the second largest producer of cement in Pakistan with annual capacity of 5.4 million tonnes. Bestway has four cement plants which are all capable of operating at full rated capacity.
The Group plays a key role in helping to revitalise the local economy by providing direct employment to over 2,000 people with a further 3,000 employed in the transportation of cement from our plants.
Bestway Cement was one of the first cement companies which was granted a license by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in 2007 and since then BCL has established itself as a leading foreign brand in India and continues to be the largest exporter through the Wagah border. The company is also the leading cement exporter to Afghanistan; whilst exporting to new clients in UAE, Sudan and Iraq.
Bestway Cement is in the process of setting up a Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant, a first of its kind in Pakistan. Once operational, the plant will generate about 15MW of power which will help reduce the emission of waste gases which will have a positive impact on the environment.
