New PR & Communications Manager for Bestway Batleys
Bestway Batleys is pleased to announce the appointment of a new, full time communications resource that will enable the company to better serve our communications needs.
The role is to be filled by Paul Gray, who will be operating out of Abbey Road and will be responsible for communication to trade press and suppliers at a corporate level.
The appointment will give Bestway and Batleys a dedicated, full-time PR and Communications resource and will ensure all parts of our business have greater visibility in trade press and with suppliers. He will also be responsible for internal communications.
Paul, who has great experience in trade press, as he was publisher of Asian Trader for many years, said, “I am delighted to be joining Bestway Wholesale Group in this new role. I believe the Group has underutilised the role of PR over the years and is punching below its weight. It is my aim to see Bestway raise its profile to a level where it reflects its size and scale.”
“I hope to get around all the relevant departments in the next week to see how we can work together. However I would also like to appeal to individual depots that may have a story to tell or have achieved excellent sales and displays to get in touch as these ‘feel-good, local’ stories are always well received.
